annk /aenk:ei/ is, first and foremost, a duet — a family project between me and my mom. Every pair is developed in close collaboration — our head designer (my mom) brings decades of craftsmanship, while I focus on concept, storytelling, and visual identity.
I had never really bought shoes before — I only recently discovered that my actual size is 37.5, not 39…Since my teenage years, I’ve always been designing and imagining the kind of shoes I wanted to wear. And my fairy of a mom supported all of this on the technical side
At 18, I began my journey in fashion. I worked as a stylist and assisted at a PR agency, where I took on roles in art management.I worked on major video productions for well-known artists, and people on set would often ask me where my shoes were from — and I would direct them to my mom’s brand.
In 2021, I created a pair of shoes for my birthday and shared behind-the-scenes footage from our small workshop on TikTok. The video gained unexpected traction, and people started asking how they could buy the shoes. So i thought - why not try? I did a shoot, then Christmas pop-up, and quite quickly started gaining an audience
Then came the war, emigration, and a long pause. But now, after two years, annk is back — grounded, steady, and ready to grow.
We believe in emotional design, slow fashion, and the power of things made with love.
All AnnK shoes are made in-house at our own production facility, where we work closely with a team of highly skilled artisans and technicians. Every detail — from the initial sketch to the final stitch — is developed by us. We design, create patterns, sculpt the last, source and select materials, and handcraft each pair with care. It’s a full-circle process — from A to Z — done under one roof.
Our workshop currently includes a team of 15 people — a tight-knit family of specialists who produce around 45 pairs a week. This slower, more personal approach allows us to maintain high standards of quality, comfort, and design — the signature of AnnK shoes.
We believe that shoes should be as individual as the person wearing them. That’s why each pair is made with attention to detail, tailored with a human touch, and crafted to bring both beauty and ease to everyday life.
